A shoulder bag made of eco-friendly canvas fabric made from organic cotton and recycled nylon from discarded fishing nets. Can store items about the size of a long wallet or a paperback book. There are plenty of pockets, 2 on the exterior and 2 on the interior. The exterior slit pocket uses soft brushed material on the inside so that it won't get scratched even if you put your smartphone in it.

The main body material is ``Liamid'', a nylon material recycled from discarded fishing nets with the aim of reducing marine debris, and an original blended fabric woven with organic cotton. This canvas fabric has just the right amount of tension and has a luxurious texture. The accessories are made from traditional Italian full vegetable tanned smooth leather. It is a leather that gains more flavor with use and can be enjoyed as it changes over time. The lining is made from Ecopet, a polyester fabric made from recycled plastic bottles.

廃漁網から生まれた鞄

世界全体で年間約800万トン、日本国内からは2～6万トン発生していると推計されている廃漁網。
海の汚染だけではなく、海の生態系にも大きな影響を及ぼす大きな問題となっています。

この取り組みでは、北海道の道東エリアで回収した「廃棄漁網」を採取し、漁網とゴミの分別や洗浄をし、原料となる「再生ペレット」を製造し、複数企業との協働を経て「製糸・織布」と生まれ変わった後に、豊岡鞄認定企業により「豊岡鞄」へと生まれ変わりました。

廃漁網 × オーガニックコットン

オーガニックコットン×廃漁網再生ナイロンからできた環境にやさしいキャンバス生地のトートバッグ。本体素材には、海洋ゴミの削減を目指して廃棄漁網から再生したナイロン素材「リアミド」と、オーガニックコットンを織り込んだオリジナル交織生地を使用しています。程よく張りがあり、高級感のある風合いが魅力のキャンバス生地です。付属にはイタリア伝統のフルベジタブルタンニンなめしのスムースレザーを使用しています。使い込むごとに味わいが増し、経年変化が楽しめるレザーです。
