This time, ahead of the release, we would like to introduce the motivation and commitment behind the development.
When it comes to Atelier nuu's Dulles Bags, it's the "Mini Dulles."
The Mini Dulles has been loved for many years as the icon of Atelier nuu for 7 years.
It is still a very popular Bag.
The wide-opening frame, the rounded form, and the spacious size have made it popular for both function and design, becoming the No.1 long seller.
We have been selling it without major design changes for 7 years, but the times do change little by little.
What is required is also gradually changing.
Feeling that Bags should also change with the times, the new model "Nano Dulles" was created.
The commitment to the Nano Dulles
The most important thing we focused on when developing the Nano Dulles was the size.
The Mini Dulles is recommended for its large capacity, but there were also frequent opinions that it was too big.
Over seven years, cashless payments have spread, wallets have become smaller, and the number of people living a minimal lifestyle with less to carry has increased.
As the minority who preferred smaller sizes increased, we came to the idea that we should make a slightly smaller size.
However, although we want it smaller, we do not want to change the advantage of fitting the recommended 500ml PET bottle.
While making it a bit smaller, we carefully downsized it with the priority of fitting necessary items and keeping the opening of the frame as it is.
With the gusset width reduced, it can be carried neatly and smartly when worn diagonally.
Not only the size but also the design has changed.
To give a smarter impression, piping (piping edge) was added to the Nano Dulles.
By adding piping, it is less likely to lose its shape and has a neat and clean form.
The Mini Dulles had a natural design with a soft feel, but the Nano Dulles is attractively smart in contrast.
We focused on the form with the awareness of how smart it looks when holding the bag.
The hook part at the mouth is deliberately made with a double hook.
You might think it has become troublesome to open, but the part covered from above has a magnetic hook, so it can be opened surprisingly easily.
To keep the appearance as neat as possible, the metal parts are covered from above to hide the parts.
Also, by doubling it, you can feel more secure, making it ideal for use overseas.
It is finished as a bag that can be used in various scenes such as daily use, travel, and special occasions.
The Nano Dulles was born not just by changing the size, but to demonstrate new charm.
Like the Mini Dulles, we want to nurture it into an existence loved by many people and continue to be close for a long time.
