However, this season is typhoon season, so the unstable weather is tough, but I like the comfortable and pleasant autumn climate.
Lately, I have been repeatedly discovering and eating my favorite sweet potato and chestnut sweets at supermarkets and convenience stores, already fully enjoying the appetite of autumn. (Mister Donut's Honey Sweet Potato Donut is a recent hit)
Now, this time, under the title "Until a new Bag is made", I would like to focus on the product development currently in progress.
We will follow the process to release together with everyone, so please look forward to the finished product!
At Atelier nuu, all products are planned, manufactured, and sold in-house.
A team of six planners regularly holds planning meetings to move forward.
The designer, planning staff, sales staff, and store staff form a team to shape what is necessary for the brand from a female perspective and bring to life ideas like "It would be nice if there was something like this" with free creativity.
The concept of Atelier nuu is "chic & natural ~Timeless beauty in materials~"
Something universal and long-loved without being too influenced by trends.
Something comfortable to use and gently supportive to become a part of the user's life.
We cherish what only Atelier nuu in Toyooka can do, carefully selecting materials and designs.
And currently, the renewed version of the "mini Dulles" is under enthusiastic development.
Speaking of the mini Dulles, it is now an iconic Dulles Bag that can be called the face of Atelier nuu.
The Dulles Bag was born about six years ago through ideas exchanged by the nuu planning team.
It has been very popular since its release and has been loved by many people for a long time.
Some may wonder why we are renewing a popular Bag.
In these six years, the times have changed greatly, and people's lifestyles have also changed significantly.
Along with that, the items put in the Bags have also changed, so sizes, designs, and functions suitable for each time are required.
The mini Dulles is still popular, but we feel the time has come to evolve with the times.
It will be reborn as a new mini Dulles to continue as an icon of Atelier nuu.
This is a sample of the new mini Dulles under development. (Improvements planned since it is a sample)
Keeping the easy-to-use frame as it is, the design around the mouth has completely changed.
The leather used is not the final version, so we will introduce what kind of leather it will be later.
In the photo above, the left is the current mini Dulles, and the right is the new mini Dulles.
Let's compare specifically how they differ.
The current model can store up to A5 size and has a wide gusset for large capacity.
The new model has become slightly smaller overall, but since the width of the frame remains the same as the current one, the characteristic opening of the mini Dulles mouth remains unchanged.

The current model has an overall rounded, plump form.
The new model has piping on the edge, giving it a sharp design.

The current model has one zipper pocket.
The new model has one pocket with a magnet.
Both are sized to fit a smartphone.
＜Capacity＞
We tried putting the same amount of items inside.

At first glance, they don't look very different, but the current model has a wider gusset, so it still has more room.
The number of pockets is the same.

The current model emphasizes a rounded, cute shape.
The new model looks sleek and more mature because the gusset width is 2cm thinner.
